As a church, let’s join with our nation to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will celebrate Dr. King in his own words, by listening to and discussing his famous “I Have a Dream Speech” from 1963. We will listen and learn from Dr. King to help us think and process how we as Christians can engage the issue of race with the hope of Jesus today.
There will be three time slots to sign-up for Monday, January 17:
• (Canceled) 10–11 a.m. for families with kids between birth and 8th grade // East Hall
• (Canceled) 1–2 p.m. for all adults // East Hall
• 5–6 p.m. for
high school and college students anyone to attend // Student Center (The Block)
Come listen, learn, and leave with a renewed vision for love, justice, and unity in the church and in our country.
